The Anti-Defamation League, also known as the ADL, is an advocate group focused on stopping defamation and hate speech toward Jewish people, which includes calling out how social media and gaming platforms respond to reports of antisemitism and Holocaust denial. The advocacy group added three major online multiplayer games to its 2023 Holocaust Denial Report: League of Legends, Call of Duty, and Fortnite. Unfortunately, Call of Duty and Fortnite were two of the lowest ranking platforms on the report.

The ADL's Center of Technology and Society graded the platforms based on Holocaust denial policies and enforcement--like if they responded to user-generated reports in a timely manner. Call of Duty scored a D- and Fortnite scored an F. League of Legends was the only one of the three newly added gaming platforms that responded and took action when usernames were reported by an ordinary user, according to the report.

"Our 2023 investigation revealed that while most platforms will remove explicit Holocaust denial content for trusted flaggers such as ADL, they often do not act accordingly when the same content is reported by ordinary users," the ADL reported.
