EA's next big American football game, Madden NFL 25, releases on August 16. But fans can actually start playing much sooner, beginning this week. The early access start-date was announced as August 13, but, as was also the case with College Football 25 before it, you can actually begin playing earlier, starting today, August 12. Here's everything you need to know about playing Madden NFL 25 early.
How to get early access
The Madden NFL 25 Deluxe ($100) and MVP ($150) editions unlock today, August 12. In addition to early access, the Deluxe edition includes in-game bonuses like 4600 Madden Points, the Christian McCaffrey elite player item, and XP boosts. The MVP edition includes all of that, plus a copy of College Football 25.
Additionally, EA Play subscribers can play a 10-hour trial of Madden NFL 25 beginning today, August 12. EA Play is available by itself for $6/month or $40/year, while the membership is also bundled with Xbox Game Pass. If you're playing via EA Play, be sure to close the app when you're finished to make the most of the 10-hour trial.
