Lego revealed five new Star Wars Smart Play sets earlier this week at the Nuremberg Toy Fair, all of which are now up for preorder at the Lego Store. The five new sets include minaturized versions of iconic Star Wars vehicles like the Millennium Falcon ($100), Imperial AT-ST ($50), and Luke's Landspeeder ($40), as well as dioramas based on famous scenes and locations like the Mos Eisley Cantina ($80) and Yoda's Swamp Hut ($70). The sets benefit from the recently announced Smart Play system, which enables additional interactivity to each build when paired with a Smart Brick. However, unlike many of the other Lego Smart Play sets announced so far, these five new releases will not include a Smart Brick in the box--meaning you'll need to pair them with one of the other Star Wars All-In-One Smart Play sets that include the interactive piece to unlock their full functionality. The lineup arrives on March 1, but since we're expecting this debut to be quite popular, it's not a bad idea to reserve your favorites in advance. Lego Star Wars Smart Play: Millennium Falcon (885 pieces)

Build the classic Millennium Falcon with this upcoming Lego set. The completed build is around 10.5 inches long and 9 inches wide, and it's packed with four smart minifigures--Han Solo, Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker, and C-3PO. When bundled with a Smart Brick, you'll get to enjoy interactive lights and sounds, including lightsaber clashes and fuel explosions. Without the Smart Brick, you can still make use of two stud shooters and removable top panels that make it easy to access the detailed interior.
Lego Star Wars Smart Play: AT-ST Attack on Endor (347 pieces)

For a smaller project, the AT-ST is just 347 pieces. It comes with a smart Wicket minifigure, plus traditional minifigures for an AT-ST Driver and Scout Trooper. Interactive features include a dual stud shooter and an opening cockpit that fits one minifigure. Along with the AT-ST, you'll get to build a speeder bike, making this a fun way to recreate your own battles. Paired with a Smart Brick, you'll get motion-activated sounds and dynamic lights, including engine noises and walking sounds from the AT-ST.
Lego Star Wars Smart Play: Luke's Landspeeder (215 pieces)

This tiny set is great for builders of all ages, letting you build Luke's iconic Landspeeder from A New Hope, plus a service station to fuel and repair it. It's paired with a Smart Luke Skywalker minifigure, a standard Jawa minifigure, and a Gonk minifigure. Luke can be brought to life with a Smart Brick, playing dynamic sounds and flashing lights during various activities.
Lego Star Wars Smart Play: Mos Eisley Cantina (666 pieces)

The Mos Eisley Cantina is one of the most iconic and beloved spots in the entire Star Wars universe, and this set lets you build a 19-inch replica for your home. Spanning four different modules, you'll find interactive features like an ejector couch and a chance to bring the band to life when paired with a Smart Brick. There's also a buildable Dewback with space for a minifigure, and the set is rounded out with a bar area and five minifigures--Smart Obi-Wan Kenobi, Smart Greedo, and traditional minifigures for a Sandtrooper and two Band members.
Lego Star Wars Smart Play: Yoda's Hut and Jedi Training (440 pieces)

Help Luke understand how to use the Force with this cool Lego set. You'll get Smart minifigures for both Yoda and Luke, plus an R2-D2 minifigure. Pair the set with a Smart Brick to enjoy various sounds and lights. There are also some fun interactive elements in this 440-piece playset, such as a removable roof on Yoda's hut to reach the bed and kitchen inside, plus an exterior area that lets you practice "balancing the Force."
As mentioned above, these five sets do not include a Smart Brick, which is required for all the cool lighting and sound effects. To get one, consider buying a Star Wars: All-In-One Set, which comes bundled with a Smart Brick (plus its own playset). Options include Luke's Red Five X-Wing for $90, the Throne Room Duel & A-Wing for $160, and Darth Vader's TIE Fighter for $70. Along with a Smart Brick, it also comes with a Smart Charger to keep the brick juiced up for your next play session.
Star Wars: All-In-One Sets
If you're a Pokemon fan, don’t miss out on some of the cool upcoming Lego sets. The most exciting of the bunch is the Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise display, which clocks in at over 6,800 pieces and should make for an eye-catching centerpiece in your home. There's also a model of Pikachu with a Poke Ball comprised of 2,050 bricks, plus a tiny Eevee design with just 587 bricks. All three of these sets arrive on February 27.
