GTA 6's delay to November 2026 helps give other games space to breathe, and that includes the upcoming Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.

Jonathan Smith, the head of production at developer TT Games, told IGN that his studio was looking at a Spring 2026 release window for Legacy of the Dark Knight. He now feels "really glad" about the game's May 29, 2026 release date, in part because it's far enough away from GTA 6 in November 2026.

"Look, I want to play that game [GTA 6], but we're also really glad to have some space for people to play Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. We're giving you an open city and a fantastic experience for all players. Which I thoroughly recommend," he said.

Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for the next Mortal Kombat movie, and the focus is on the film's new character, Johnny Cage. The Lord of the Rings and The Boys star Karl Urban plays Cage, a movie star who gets called in to fight in a new Mortal Kombat tournament.

In this story, Cage appears to be a has-been, as we see him sitting at a signing booth at a fan convention with no one coming to see him. Things change quickly, though, and Cage is called upon to fight Shao Kahn and save the world, basically.

Simon McQuoid returns as director, following 2021's Mortal Kombat. That film earned $84.5 million worldwide, but hopes are no doubt higher for the sequel given the first was released during the pandemic.
